Biografia | Jonathon Mershimer, CFA, is a senior analyst on the Driehaus Emerging Markets team with a focus on macro and financial research. His in-depth macro research, idea generation and buy/sell recommendations are leveraged across the strategies managed by the Driehaus Emerging Markets team. Prior to joining DCM in 2020, he worked as a portfolio manager for Dimensional Fund Advisors. In advance of his time at Dimensional Fund Advisors, he worked as a credit trader for Susquehanna International Group. He began his career in fixed income markets at Société Générale as an assistant trader in the special situations group. Additionally, Mr. Mershimer spent his M.B.A. summer as an associate with the leveraged finance group at Wells Fargo. Mr. Mershimer received a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University in 2008 and completed his M.B.A. with a concentration in econometrics/statistics and analytic finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2017. Biografia | Richard Thies is the lead portfolio manager of the Driehaus Global strategy and a portfolio manager for the Driehaus Emerging Markets Growth and Driehaus Emerging Markets Small Cap Equity strategies. Mr. Thies leads the Driehaus Emerging Markets team’s coverage of the financial sector and has primary responsibility for macroeconomic analysis. His macroeconomic analysis, idea generation, security analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management responsibilities are leveraged across the strategies managed by the Driehaus Emerging Markets team. Additionally, he serves on DCM's executive committee. Mr. Thies has spent his entire career focused on emerging markets. Prior to joining DCM in 2011, he worked as an international economist covering emerging markets at The Northern Trust. In advance of his time at The Northern Trust, Mr. Thies worked in microfinance banking in sub-Saharan Africa with both the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group and Opportunity International. Mr. Thies received his Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Emory University in 2005 and his Master of Arts degree focused on international political economy from the University of Chicago in 2007. | ||

Biografia | Max Heitner is the director of research and risk management. He is responsible for developing and recommending risk strategies to achieve DCM's investment goals as well as assisting in the analysis of investment ideas which meet investment objectives and portfolio requirements. Mr. Heitner also works with portfolio managers and analysts to monitor and analyze risk exposure, discuss new investment ideas and review the fundamental developments of stocks, industries, and/or geographic segments to enhance investment decision-making across strategies. Additionally, he serves on DCM's executive and business management committees. Mr. Heitner joined DCM in 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Heitner worked at PEAK6 Asset Management L.L.C. as a senior analyst covering large cap stocks. He also worked at Magnetar Investment Management as a quantitative analyst. Before that role, Mr. Heitner held positions at William Blair & Company LLC, Tucker Anthony, and Brokerage Consultants LLC. He was named portfolio manager of the Driehaus in November 1998. In March 2000, Rea joined BlackRock, Inc., where he was a senior equity analyst and portfolio manager. In February 2005, he joined Franklin Templeton Investments as a senior equity analyst and sector leader on Global Large Cap Growth team until he rejoined the Adviser in April 2006. |
