Biografia Brian is a senior portfolio manager within the BlueBay Fixed income team. He has been lead portfolio manager for RBC GAM’s impact investing strategies since 2006 along with many government and mortgage strategies. Brian joined RBC GAM in 2005 and has co-led the Minneapolis-based fixed income group since 2012. He had previously held several risk management, research, and trading positions with a large American multinational financial services company and first started in the investment industry in 1992.

Biografia Scott Kirby is Senior Portfolio Manager at RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.) Inc. since 2012; Manager of Investments from 2010 to 2012. Scott Kirby is a member of the rates research team in our fixed income group and serves as co-portfolio manager for our community investment strategy. Scott joined RBC GAM–US in 2012 and most recently served as manager of investments of a broad-based asset portfolio for a large foundation, supporting its mission to reduce poverty. Previously, he led the structured assets investment team of Ameriprise Financial/Riversource Investments. He earned a BS in finance from University of Minnesota and an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.

Biografia Todd Brux leads Voyageur’s Structured Product Team which focuses on opportunities in mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. Prior to his current role, Todd led the firm’s Portfolio Analytics Team. Prior to joining Voyageur in 2004, Todd was head trader at GMAC RFC and a senior investment analyst at Galliard Capital Management. Todd has been in the investment industry since 1994. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Todd is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.

Biografia John Huber oversees our fixed income research and portfolio management efforts. John also maintains specific research responsibilities for the taxable municipal sector and the transportation industry. He joined RBC GAM (US) in 2004 from Galliard Capital Management, where he was a founding member and principal of the firm. Before that, John was a portfolio manager at Norwest Investment Management, where he began his career in the capital markets group in 1990. He earned a BA from the university of Iowa and an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. John acts as an advisor to the Carlson Funds Enterprise for the University of Minnesota. He is also a board member of the Minneapolis Downtown YMCA. John is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
David Sand Chief Impact Strategist 1998 2010
Biografia As chief impact strategist, David is responsible for furthering the scope of the firm’s impact reporting and outcomes metrics, business development, and creating new impact investing products to meet the needs of existing and future clients. He is also involved in developing the macro-economic and impact investing outlook applied in the construction of the firm’s investment strategies. David is a well-regarded and sought-after speaker on the topic of impact investing and represents the firm in client meetings and media requests. He is a frequent guest lecturer on impact investing at college campuses around the country. David is chair of the Investment Strategy Committee and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Investment Management and Trading Committee, and Valuation Committee. David has more than 35 years of investment management experience and is a trailblazer in the socially responsible/impact investing arena. In 1994, he co-founded Access Capital Strategies and served as its president and chief investment officer from 1994 to 2010. In this capacity, he pioneered the development of market-rate, fixed income impact investments for institutional investors. He then worked as a consultant to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI’s), non-profits and social enterprises. David serves on the following boards: New York Advisory Board for Enterprise Community Partners, Croatan Institute, and AERIS®: The Information Service for Community Investors. He is also a former board member of U.S. SIF: The Forum for Sustainable Investment. David received his A.B. in American History from Princeton University and an M.P.A from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He holds FINRA licenses: Series 7 & 63.

Biografia From 1983 to 1996, Homer was the president and chief executive officer of the Boston Bank of Commerce. From 1979 to 1983, He was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Freedom National Bank of New York. He spent his first ten years in banking in a variety of commercial lending positions at Marine Midland Bank in New York. This experience included asset-based, commercial real estate, and multi-national corporate lending.
