Biografia	Matt Burdett is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He rejoined the firm in 2015 as an associate portfolio manager and was promoted to portfolio manager in 2018. Matt spent several years as a senior vice president and portfolio manager at PIMCO, where he co-managed various dividend-oriented strategies. Prior to his time at PIMCO, Matt worked as an equity analyst at Thornburg. Matt was director of healthcare investment banking at CIBC World Markets / Oppenheimer prior to joining Thornburg in 2010. Earlier in his career, he was a medicinal chemist at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals. Matt holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.

Biografia	Christian Hoffmann is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined the firm in 2012 as a fixed income securities analyst and was promoted to associate portfolio manager in 2014, then portfolio manager in 2018. Christian graduated cum laude from New York University with a BA in economics. He is also a CFA charterholder. Prior to joining Thornburg, he served as a senior credit analyst with H.I.G. Capital in Miami, Florida, where he specialized in distressed debt investments and credit driven special situations. Christian began his career in the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers and later spent several years working on the high yield research desk at Lehman Brothers.

Biografia	Josh Rubin is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined Thornburg in 2017, initially working with the global strategies before being named associate portfolio manager in 2018, and portfolio manager in 2021. Before Thornburg, Josh worked at Driehaus Capital Management in Chicago, where he was first an associate portfolio manager responsible for emerging markets, and then the portfolio manager of the firm’s Global and certain U.S. strategies. Prior to Driehaus, Josh co-managed the emerging markets equity strategy at Marsico Capital Management in Denver, where he was also a senior analyst covering global companies across sectors. Before asset management, Josh held investment banking and consulting roles. Josh earned a BSFS in international politics from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Biografia	Charlie Wilson is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined the firm in 2012 as associate portfolio manager and was promoted to portfolio manager in 2014. Charlie earned a BS in geology from the University of Arizona in Tucson and a PhD in geophysics from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Prior to joining Thornburg, Charlie served as co-portfolio manager for Marsico Capital Management in Denver, Colorado. He was responsible for portfolio investments across multiple strategies and geographies, with specialization in materials, energy, technology, and payments sectors.

Biografia	Ben Kirby is co-head of investments for Thornburg Investment Management. He is responsible for driving the investment process at the firm level. Ben is also a portfolio manager on multiple strategies. He joined Thornburg in 2008 as equity research analyst, was promoted to associate portfolio manager in 2011, and was named portfolio manager and managing director in 2013. Ben holds a BA in computer science from Fort Lewis College and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Prior to graduate school, Ben was a software engineer at Pinnacle Business Systems in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is a CFA charterholder.
Lewis S. Kaufman	Managing Director, Portfolio Manager	2009	2015
Biografia	Lewis S. Kaufman, CFA, is a managing director of Artisan Partners and founding portfolio manager of the Developing World team. In this role, he is the portfolio manager for the Artisan Developing World Strategy. Prior to joining Artisan Partners in February 2015, Mr. Kaufman was a managing director and portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management, where he managed the Developing World Strategy from its inception in 2009 through January 2015. Thornburg was named Emerging Markets Equity Investment Manager of the Year by Institutional Investor for its Developing World Strategy in 2014. Mr. Kaufman also co-managed the International ADR Strategy from 2007 through 2013, after joining Thornburg in 2005 as an associate portfolio manager. Prior to joining Thornburg, Mr. Kaufman held various investment-related positions with Morgan Stanley and Citigroup. Mr. Kaufman graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
